Gilmerton House, a Grade A listed Georgian mansion and member of the prestigious Unique Venues of Edinburgh. Conveniently located just 22 miles and 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre and 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, this 5-star luxury private retreat offers a versatile venue for all forms of corporate hospitality as well as exclusivity and an exemplary, bespoke butler service in a gracious and cordial environment.

The estate comprises 1000 acres of which 100 acres are woodlands and walks. Along with acres of land for outdoor activities, a courtyard ideal for barbeques, a terrace and stunning gardens, the house has a variety of reception rooms, comfortable lounges and break out spaces. The four public rooms can be easily adapted to accommodate conferences and meetings and complimentary WIFI is available throughout the house. The Drawing Rooms are delightful and welcoming with patios and balconies overlooking the gardens and parkland. Both rooms are perfect settings for an exquisite vintage afternoon tea, whisky and gin tastings or drinks on a warm, summer evening. The Music Room, one of the finest rooms of its age in Scotland, was designed as a library and is completely surrounded with original, unpainted wood panelling and an impressive ceiling decorated with Rococo swirls. Steeped in Scottish history and accommodating up to 60 guests, it is a fitting backdrop for a St. Andrew’s or Burns Night celebration. Additionally, the handsome Dining Room, with views over the parkland and gardens, can cater for up to 20 diners.

Big Picture is a creative activity which involves vast team work skills and communication as you work together to recreate an image you are given. BlueSky Experiencesalso focuses on Team Development with activities such as BlueSky Team Solutions. This looks at the different behaviours within the teams and identifies to you how you manage the behaviours to make your working environment more efficient.
