Thundercats Reach For The Sky
11/07/2008A team of Thundercats from IT company TSG is hoping to win the BlueSky Challenge.
Taking inspiration from the popular cartoon series, team leader Neil Harding has adopted the moniker Lion-O for the event at Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfriesshire, in September.
Under TSG's cycle to work scheme, Harding bought a mountain bike and has recently completed some 20 kilometre trails in preparation for the race. He said: "I've never competed in an event like the BlueSky Challenge, but I am intrigued by the secret challenges and will be in training so that I can put in a good effort."
Staff names were drawn out of a ballot after there were too many applications for the four places.
