Murder Mystery - Evening Team Building Activities

Murder & Mystery evenings have, over the last few years, developed into a set piece format with one or two character actors, and guests trying to work out who killed whom. With a view to providing something new BlueSky Experiences have developed the ultimate murder & mystery event. Guests are given the opportunity to test their powers of deduction by solving cases of the world's greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes!

The format for the evening is flexible depending on the setting, traditionally the initial 20 minutes for the first act can take place during drinks / pre dinner drinks. The actors will burst in unannounced and chaos follows as characters are introduced and a murder takes place off stage. At the end of this first act, relationships between the characters and some motives are revealed.

The actors eat dinner with guests, as this gives the guests the chance to interrogate the characters, who rotate between tables so that the teams/tables can have a chance to learn more. Some guests take this seriously, and some just have a laugh with the characters.

We have a variety of cases detailing some of the most dastardly crimes ever investigated. From their initial introduction, during cocktails, to the theme of the night and details of the crime, guests will have the duration of the meal to discuss, investigate and solve their particular case.

The host for the evening will provide all the necessary requirements, from street maps of old London (circa 1880) to transcripts of suspects interviews. He may even throw in the odd red herring to any team getting too far ahead of the others. Points are awarded to the team whose theories match those of Sherlock Holmes.

Solve the crime and be accepted as a member of that exclusive group, "The Baker Street Irregulars", with a certificate to prove it! Are your delegates clued up enough to solve the challenge of the century?
