Open boating is outdoor adventure for everyone
Canoeing can mean thrashing around in white water, or something far more relaxing. Canadian canoes (pictured above) - or open boats - can be paddled solo, double or even as a family group. These beasts are among the most versatile of watercraft, equally at home on tranquil loch or rushing rapids.
Bluesky Experiences will introduce you to paddling skills on the stupendous Loch Tay and the mighty River Tay. Our trips will introduce you to the skills of handling an open boat in the different water environments, and are just as enjoyable for experienced paddlers or absolute beginners. On river trips well usually put-in at Kenmore or Aberfeldy, and head off downstream, to be met at the end of the journey by a shuttle back to the start.

Safety in the water Your safety, of course, will always be our top priority. As ever, youll be with some of the best guides in the business. They dont walk on water, but they do have a combination of skills, instructional ability and knowledge of local waterways that is second to none. Water conditions are obviously critical to safety, and we keep a keen eye on the weather and how it will affect our activities. If adverse conditions mean we have to change our plans then well make every effort to come up with an alternative thats just as good.
Bluesky Experiences is the only corporate challenge venue in Scotland annually inspected by AALA, the government's Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.
